They don't just get bigger. Hakamo-o stands on its hind legs and gets scales on its arms and is able to punch shit, and Kommo-o gets those dreadlocks and looks way more beastly IMO. Plus it gets a way more jingly tail. I mean, what exactly did you want from it, to grow wings and become purple?

It's actually really easy to tell them apart.
-Jangmo-o is the small quadruped with a heart-shaped headcrest.
-Hakamo-o is now bipedal, and its headcrest is more teardrop-shaped, with two vague heart shapes inside.
-Kommo-o is the tallest one with many, many discs.

Don't even use its sig move. I had a Jangmo-o egg traded to me at about the start of Akala, and how I ran it was:

>Jang/Haka/Kommo-o @ Leftovers, Jolly

>Dragon Tail / Dragon Claw (both didn't really put much work in) / Dragon Dance
>Brick Break / Sky Uppercut (basically my main way of attacking)
>Protect (bread and butter, lets it lefties-stall if need be, and helped it out a lot since it started getting a bit baggage-y until it evolved)
>Some filler move, I don't even remember / Flamethrower (I preferred Flamethrower for the type coverage and chance to burn over Clanging Scales' raw power at the cost of defense drop) / Earthquake (once I finally got the TM in the postgame)

Aside from having to hide from fairies, I liked using my big jingly friend. Didn't even need to waste a moveslot on Clanging Scales.

Update: Just remembered, the filler move was Rock Tomb, which actually did put in a lot of work, but it was getting to the point where two other Pokemon on my team had the move and were all super reliant on it, so I had to make some concessions.
