I found this method by observing that one of my Japanese VIPs had 100+ Festival Plaza rank with 0 Missions participated and over 1000+ guests interacted with. This person went from 109 rank to 151 rank in 1 day.
I've been averaging 210 fc every 2 minutes without 2x FC.
I've been averaging 400 fc every 2 minutes with 2x FC.
I've been averaging 1 rank up every time I reset game. (My festival rank is 100+)

1. Go to fortune teller tent and hope that you get the 2x FC when talking to VIPs / Guests.
2. Have 10 guests added on your VIP list.
3. Most of your VIPs / guests must have a red chat bubble.
(All of my VIPs have festival rank 100+ they mostly give me 23,30,45 fc or 46,60,70 with 2x FC)
4. Talk to all your VIPs (10x) / other guests that have a red chat bubble.
5. Save game by connecting to the Internet (Icon bottom-right of the touch screen)
6. Disconnect from the Internet / Leave the festival plaza by pressing X then Y
7. Reset your game by pressing L + R + Select at the same time.
8. Return to Festival Plaza and all your VIPs / guests will still have the red chat bubble and they usually have the same questions / answers giving the same FC every time.
9. Do steps 4 – 8 over and over again.

Okay, can someone help me out, this is retarded. Is the "I like your outfit" feature on Festival Plaza a piece of shit or what? I'm trying to get version exclusive shorts in my Sun game but I can't figure it out. On my Moon game, I made my MC wear the shorts. I unlocked the feature in my Sun file. But whenever I go to Festival Plaza while Moon file is wearing the shorts, he never brings them up. He's offers the backpack and the shirt, but that's it. He never makes any remarks about shirts or shoes. How can I get the version exclusive shorts? Am I unable to? I literally can't find any information on this one issue anywhere online and it's making me wanna kill myself.

I had the same trouble with finding someone to sell me the Red and Pink Flower Accessories. You've just got to keep asking every day. You can increase your odds of getting it from somene by registering multiple people wearing that specific item as your VIPs and checking daily which item they are 'feeling' today. Eh not in my experience. VIPs in general give more coins so I VIP'd enough people to fill the plaza for maximum profit.

did pkhex and/or pksv ever update the offsets for FC on hand (which you can actually spend on facilities/activities/purchases/etc) instead of earned FC (which only affects plaza level and the facility sophocles offers you after the two level ups)

Nah it's nothing like that.

Think of it this way. You're essentially playing a mission that usually pays out 150+ coins for very minimal effort and you know all the answers to where to send people to the plaza.

With the festival plaza fortune, you can literally earn up to 500 coins in one run around.

Somebody put up something on the GTS asking for a male Mareanie, and after the trade's done ask me about my outfit and see if you can buy any of the clothes. If it works, I'll start breeding a shitton of Mareanie so more people can get some stuff, and I'll list what clothes I have that I can dye. The more trades that happen, the more clothes I can afford to dye.

I can confirm that it's NOT possible to buy bright, dyed items from festival plaza guests, or at least if you met that visitor via quick link/streetpass. Trainer's favorite item of the day was the bright navy blue hat.

As far as I can tell, they are generated over time, but up to a certain number of players. Meaning there will never be a time when everyone in your plaza has a red bubble. It /feels/ like the limit is ~10

This sometimes happens to me too, though. Usually resetting or connecting/disconnecting from the internet sets it straight. though it sometimes replaces some of the visitors

I'd like a 5 star Ball Shop, but I doubt I have the FC for one yet. Grinding FC really blows. There are some fun missions like smashing rocks with Tauros, or the brain bending Inverse Type Matchup... but next to nobody launches or joins them.

Figured out why you only want 10 VIPs and of high rank. It's because when you reload the plaza and deal with some of the requests like

>show me someone who has a high caring rank

you only get 10 choices of your 50 VIPs. SO you can really only guarantee max FC if you can direct that person to the same one over and over. I believe if you satisfy them enough you can get 45 - 50 fc without the 2x boost. The 10 change every single time you reset.

I have maybe 10 level 100+, but most of them have shit battle rank and shit caring. everyone else is at least above 25. So to confirm other posts, no fp ranks of vips dont seem to matter.
