My very first one was a green machop in Ruby
My second one was SHINY GOLD GROUDON in Ruby which I encountered the FIRST TRY. I honestly thought it was an event or something but I was just really lucky

I found many shines, and hatched some pretty good ones. X and Y has been very kind to me in this aspect.

But this game has not been kind to me as far as shiny hunting is concerned even with my charm. S.O.S chained many Pokemon to 255 and still nothing. Hatched hundreds of shines and still nothing. Please just end this bad dream and give me one.

The file got deleted when my cousin started a New Game and saved over my file.

Then I found a shiny Solrock in Pearl.
My house got broken into and my DS with Pearl got stolen.

All my sentimentality got thrown out the window and now I'm sitting with boxes of hacked shiny mons.
