I don't have a pic of it so have this instead, but I hate everything about Incineroar. The proportions, the colors, the weird stripes, the sausages fingers and tiny legs, that chest, that face, the fact that it looks like a cat head on a human body, I hate wrestling and I hate its attitude. Also Torracat is great.

non-speed boost blaziken was outclassed in every way by infernape and even back in gen 4 lucario was never "good"

while there's some clear bias like charizard and mewtwo getting 2 megas each and some blatantly unnecessary megas like salamence, a lot of them went to either unpopular pokemon (kangaskhan, pinsir, houndoom, medicham, etc) or popular but not very powerful pokemon (heracross, ampharos, absol, mawile, etc)

Other than the aforementioned favoritism for a select few like charizard and mewtwo which I previously mentioned the biggest issue is the disparity in how well many of them got changed in the mega evolutions. Some clearly had special treatment in how their mega was handled (Lucario, Charizard, somehow Beedrill managed to get super minmaxed, must be a dev favorite) and some are poor to outright bad (Audino, Houndoom, Glalie, Latios all spring to mind)

the mechanic is good but was handled poorly, like a lot of things in pokemon these days actually

I hate this meme. Megas are a thing that give old Pokemon a new way to fight. If they had only give it to shitmons no one cared about, I would've hated Megas. While my favorite didn't get a Mega, I was happier to see some of the Pokemon I like getting them, such as the Metagross and Scizor.
It's not a simple buff. Stop treating it like it is. It's a new feature that a lot of Pokemon deserved, even if they were already strong.

No, I don't believe it was the best choice to give Mewtwo two Megas, but I also don't think it was a wrong choice. Mewtwo getting two Megas does not stop GF from giving the birds Megas. It was just an extra pandering to Mewtwo fans.
So again, while I do believe it wasn't a the best thing they could've done, I don't consider it a wrong decision by any means. It didn't harm anyone, and just made a lot of fans happier.

Again, Megas aren't buffs. They're fanservice, more than anything. If they simply wanted a Pokemon to be viable, there are many ways to go about it. Every Pokemon deserve Megas, not just shitmons.
If only shitmons got Megas, they would've been hated. If a Beedrill had suddenly become stronger than Blastoise, not a lot of people would've appreciated it. That would've been a terrible thing to do to their fans.

While that is a fair point, how much time and resources do you think designing two extra Megas took? I doubt it was no time, but I also doubt it was enough that they had to scrap other ideas to meet some deadlines.
I agree this shouldn't be a thing, but it being a thing doesn't harm anything. If it was done on a wider scale, then it would've been a problem. But as things stand, it was just two extra Pokemon. That isn't narrowing it down at all. That's just extra fanservice. It's like Cosplay Pikachu, Spiky Eared Pichu, or Ash-Greninja. These things are pointless, but they aren't taking away things from the experience in any way.
