Anyone else try to avoid using items in-game during battle? I

Nah I use them because they are offered to me, I can understand why someone might want to challenge themselves and not use them but I'd rather just use what the game provides.
That said I don't use many held items. Amulet coin is pretty much the only one I use.

How? Alolan-Raichu and Lycanroc have higher base speeds, they should be faster. And a Psychic from A-Raichu should BTFO Primeape.

My Lycanroc has 142 Speed, my Raichu 138. Both are apparently slower than his Primeape. I'm confused, too.

But in general, my teak is terribly weak to physical attacks.

There, finally beat him. But I had to use a pair of MooMoo Milks until his Primeape missed a Cross Chop. Fuck that thing. HOW THE HELL is it faster than my Lycaroc? I know it isn't scarfed.

Almost all of those are Z-Crystals. Of course I'm gonna use the new gimmick in a new game, that's why the majority of my team is made of Alolan pokes as well.

Considering important NPCs in SM have 252/252 EV spreads and perfect IVs I think, you're likely to get outsped by pretty much every boss, all the time.

I just avoid using held items that are consumed after use outside of online that aren't berries to avoid having to grind for another
