Sun and moon anime is fine so far, the only problem is that most of the time the slapstick humor is really bad, like in the mall episode the first half made me cringe really hard and the part with ash just slaming his face against the doors in the mall over and over again was dumb.

Ash is totally fine, they actually keep the ash from XY almost the same, the problem is that they don't know how to make good comedy, so it comes as pretty dumb and boring

I like the calm scenes of them just hanging out like that one episode where he went to Lana's house. Team Rocket needs to die.

OS knew how to be funny and also knew when not to force the humor. But I guess with over 900 episodes not every one of them can be as hilarious.
