Kinda agreed with this. R/S were disappointing so I never played Emerald until years later and never fucked around with the Battle Frontier. I enjoyed ORAS more.

Naw lil nigger. Even ignoring the terrible remakes and that godawful rayquazza storyline they never fixed Kalos and just gave up on of. Come on now at the very least they could have fixed Kalos.

Hoenn was a shitpile even in G3 so it being bad in a remake was them being unironically keeping in the spirit of that gen.

Gen 6's bottom screen features were all nearly perfect; the PSS was amazing because you could always be online for battles and trades, Pokémon amie rewarded you for treating your Pokemon as friends instead of battle slaves and super training helped a shit ton for grinding EVs, along with horde battles
