The most straightforward way is to use a homebrew save dumping tool like JKSM, and use PKHeX to edit the file itself.

Just copy and paste one of the patched code.bins into SD:/luma/code_sections
Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start.

Extract the patched code.bins and rename them to 00175E00.code for Moon and 00164800.code for Sun.
Place it in SD:/hans/
Start up the homebrew menu and open HANS, open Pokemon through it. Finally, use the in-game QR scanner, and you're golden.

well you are just not informed, browserhax got fixed, yes, but oot, cubic ninja and freakyforms deluxe have always been able to get you homebrew access, you just aren't willing to get any of those.
But don't worry, a free entrypoint comes in less than two weeks, so you can inject yourself until you "update by accident" and fuck it up yet again. Maybe you'll install some secondary entrypoints this time

I can use some help guys. I have 2 old 3DS, one is on version 9.2.0-20U and the other is on the latest version 11.2.0-35U.
I used the older version 3DS to use PKHex by using browserhax and dumping my game memory, editing and importing it. I want to do this with Sun and Moon, but it asks me to update. And when I use browserhax to try and dump the memory, it just freezes. Is there any way I can get this to work, without having to by another game like CubicNinja or OoT, or powersaves? Any help is appreciated. Thanks anon!

I was in the same situation as you 1 month ago. afaik there is no solution without having the entrypoints you mentioned. I gave up and ordered OoT3d on Amazon. Everything works perfectly now.
