Dragons are dead because GF forgot how to make a good dragon. It needs to be fast, and have a secondary stab that's not fucked over by Fairy. Hydreigon, Goodra, Komoo-o are shit dragons because of that. Every other dragon is single type and slow as shit.

Garchomp is just the best Pokémon Game Freak has ever made honestly. It's stats are very well distributed.

Glad someone gets it. Dragon Claw is underwhelming. Outrage was used because of the extra power but still sucks. The main issue was powerful Draco Meteors which is why Fairy was created.
They really need to buff Dragon Rush.

I wouldn't say it's a shit type. It's good because it has neutral matchups vs. most other types, plus a few useful resistances.

It's in the same boat as Normal. Mega Kangaskhan is basically a Dragon type without the Dragon typing. If there were more Normal types as strong as Kanga, it'd be just like Dragon type.

Dragon is better as a special attacking type now. Fairies made Outrage spam easier to punish, whereas using Draco Metor is no different from running Overheat on your Fire type. Latios is still a threat as nearly anything that is not a fairy can be severely dented by him.

Outrage is a shit move that only got used because there were no better alternatives for physical dragons.
Dragon Claw has low BP for sweeping.
Dragon Rush has shit accuracy.

Also, before gen 6 most viable Steel types (save for Ferrothorn and Empoleon) were physically inclined. While Pokemon such as Skarmory could comfortably tank an Outrage, a Specs/Gem Meteor would easily 2HKO on the switch in.
