I like a lot yo-kai watch games
Sure, gameplay is not deep, but the whole series is fun to play since the whole town is full of quests, NPCs and stuff to do, it feels more alive than a regular 3DS game.

BTW, I spent some weeks in japan the last month and Yo-Kai Watch is really popular there

It's already died in New Zealand. We got the first wave of toys around the same time as the anime, but because there were only 26 episodes it was done in just over a month, so it stopped airing and the toys stopped selling. Now they're sitting on pegs accumulating dust and getting marked down further every so often.

It was fun. Multiplayer was a blast during the first week too. I was lucky enough to have 2 people to play blasters mode with too.

They really should have just localized the third version instead of going greedy. Here's hoping they made enough localize the next one too.

SM001 Dub/Sub Differences:
- The dub doesn't even try to translate most of Samson Oak's puns... the Solrock and Porygon ones are the only ones to make it through (and maybe the Tyranitar one since I couldn't actually understand what he said even when I took it back). Otherwise he's just making weird faces.
- Unlike Kapu-Kokeko, Tapu Koko is simply referred to as a guardian... he's not a deity in the dub (due to the obvious religious implication).
- The biggest change this episode goes through is that the attack name text is removed when Kiawe performs the Z-Move. Why the hell TPCi would remove this is beyond me since it's also in the games.
- Who's That Pokemon? returns, and it's visually similar to the Japanese except that the picture doesn't shuffle around.
- All the new Pokemon get dub voices, although I think Tapu Koko had some of its Japanese voice retained.
- The 'To Be Continued' subtitle is removed.

SM002 Dub/Sub Differences:
- Sophocles' Togedemaru gets a dub voice (something I didn't touch on in the last episode since you could barely hear it). This makes it the first electric rodent to not keep its Japanese voice.
- Rockruff also gets a dub voice.
- When Pikachu used the Z-Move, several frames were slowed down... this may be a UK thing though as I've seen CITV do this before on other shows. As before, the attack text is removed.
- This time, Samson Oak names all the Pokemon he does impressions of with puns worked in where possible... he even makes an extra one by saying the students had to "Rapidash off" (which is weird because there's no physical impersonation). Kakui also mentions afterwards that this the "Cross Chop of friendship always lands a critical hit"... I've only seen the subs which look like they were run through Google translate for this episode, but I'm pretty sure game terms weren't thrown around in that exchange. Otherwise, no major script changes.
- Unlike last episode which seemed to retain some of the original vocal effects, Tapu Koko is entirely dubbed.
- Who's That Pokemon? was Rockruff. Again, the 'To Be Continued' subtitle was omitted.
