Honestly, aside from BW which I rate pretty highly, this matches up to how I feel about things as well. That's trying to be objective though; I like BW more than Platinum but I can recognise that Platinum is a better rounded game in general for example.

Also not sure how ORAS got more votes for worst game than RS, when it is a literal upgrade; if we were taking Emerald into consideration I could understand, but its not.

BW2 is a great game, but it sounds like the beginning will really put you off. You have a lot of hand holding, climaxing at the forced Pokewood studios tutorial (Pokewood was fucking awesome for the record, but having to sit through that tutorial was an incredibly bad idea that helped turn a lot of people off it) and only really tapering off after reaching the mainland after the second gym.

After that its pretty good though, and has one of if not the best post games if thats your thing, between PWT, Black/White Tower and Pokewood.

No, you dont really get it. Most of the other leaders are stopped by the player. Archer and Cyrus actually won and the player couldnt do anything about it. Team Rocket only disbanded in HGSS because Giovanni didnt come, and if he did, we'd have lost. After we beat Archer, he feels bad that he feel the same way Giovanni did, and since he didnt return they disbanded for good

But they wanted to make a signal that turned Pokemon insane, stronger and under their control, and when we shut down Mahogany Town's base they reveal it didnt matter because it was just a test.

Cyrus only lost because Giratina came and BTFO him. Everyone else was stopped by the player.

A better explanation than I can give, but its more like a bonus dungeon than anything. You still get exp for your team but you'll need it because the enemy levels continue to scale all the way up; the bosses at the end are around level 80 or so and pretty decent fights.

Pokewood is the movie star side game; effectively it works like a puzzle game, where you need to use pokemon moves and type match ups to meet certain conditions to get the endings you want for the movies. Probably the biggest downfall in it is A) the forced tutorial at the beginning and B) the fact that you have to clear a movie with rental pokemon that can get you the "right" ending before using your own pokemon and going for the weird endings. I really enjoyed it, though you'll probably need a guide to meet some of the requirements.

BW2 also has the waifu sidequest
