Advice for people needing the Power items: Get the speed and attack/spatt ones first and then use them to ev train something op. One good mon should be able to get you far enough into the battle tree to get the other 4 faster than dying over and over at the 5fps-free-for-all. I used a Mimikyu.

Weavile lv. 51 female are holding Apricorn Balls, lv. 1 male Rowlets with Starf Berries, and lv. 1 female Popplio with Lansat Berries.

If those are of interest, use something that isn't easy to get sniped on the GTS. Would recommend Herdier to use. Lillipup around the ranch area & route 4 just need to be leveled up to 16 for evolution. Sylveon is another easier mid-level shitmon to use if you give it a Rainbow Bean (route 4 having ones with a fairy move already).

But I also remember reading that you can't trade from a hacked version of the game to a non-hacked version (That's probably bullshit from someone, but I just wanted to make sure)

It isn't a permaban. However, because of GF's method of handing online shenanigans (to avoid shit from last gen, incl. cloning glitch), it punishes a lot of innocent players much more than the ones they want. When it happened to my downloaded purchased Moon, I got lucky enough for it to last for 45 minutes. Looking up other documentation showed that, early on, players who got hit with it couldn't do any sort of trading (local AND online). Some got very unlucky with it going on for 24+ hours. Customer service basically tells the player that they're shit out of luck. It is very unfortunate when it happens to those players who play as legit as they can. Haven't checked on any changes to the system much since then.
