My daughter's favorite 6 are Reuniclus, Sableye, Alolan Ninetales, Spinda, Slaking, and Sharpedo. I personally tell her she has awesome taste, but last week she came home crying because she was being teased by her classmates for liking Reuniclus. Sableye, Slaking and Sharpedo. What's worse is that one of them apparently took her 3DS during snack period and released those 4 from the PC. I didn't know what to do, since I didn't want to blow the problem way out of proportion by going to the school and explaining that my daughter was bullied for liking x Pokemon. That night I bred those respective Pokemon again and tried hard to get a shiny for each one, but only managed to hatch a shiny Solosis. Not going to get into the details, but she was ecstatic the day after when she checked her 3DS only to see her team was back together with a shiny Reuniclus to boot. Only mistake was that I named the shiny Reuniclus "Green ChuChu" instead of "Blue ChuChu", since that's what she named her previous one. Never knew how bad kids can get when they're such a young age, it was pretty unbelievable that such a thing even takes place in the 2nd grade.
