How am I supposed to grind FC when nobody is ever joining my missions or creating any? Game freak with another subpar social experiment...

Play when the Japanese players are on.
>They literally just do type matchup tests over and over
>They all join the mission closest to 1:30 seconds to get 3~4ish stars in time + the group bonus of 4~5.
Oh, and never start the missions. Always join.
That's because it's fucking stupid.
This is what I do.

I want a more efficient way of earning Festival Coins!
Okay fine, here's a neat little trick that might come in handy, though it's not always practical. While on local communication, go around the plaza talking to people with a red speech bubble. If you find a group of coin givers close together and/or who give a particularly high number of FC:
1. Get their points.
2. Attempt to connect to the Internet, saving in the process.
3. Reset the game and re-enter the Festival Plaza
Because you saved, you will have the FC you gained, but everyone you missed will be available to talk to again.
There is also a Fortune Teller fortune that can increase the FC amounts you gain, so having one or two of those in your Plaza can be useful.
I never connected to WiFi so I always did the missions with the stock characters. I went to level 30 easily.
Is there a way to go back to those "stock" ones once you've connected?

>nobody is on
I don't know how, but you're managing to do this wrong.

Bump for this

I connect to wifi and never get any alerts for tests or events. Ever.

Blame Gamefreak for making Festival Plaza shit.
>>30841278
Do a wonder trade. That works for me occasionally.
Festival plaza is fucking worthless. Honestly bad enough to drag SM down.
>>30841402
Wouldn't call it worthless than I would say it requires a bit too much effort to get things set up and going due to RNG and Prices
>>30841402
Just seems like a massive waste of dev time. Any benefits or items received from it could have been obtained in the regular game for money, shards, anything but this agony...
