I wish they didn't open the floodgates for vaguely spooky animals to qualify for Ghost-type. I miss when it was just reserved for ghosts and weird ghost-like creatures.

Not a huge fan of any of them except Decidueye, and it doesn't really feel like a proper Ghost type to me

Mimikyu is better because most trainers have one or two Pokemon so you can boost on the first one, take no damage, and then kill the rest.

Also Fairy/Ghost is a fucking fantastic typing, a lot of things won't be able to hit you at all.

Yeah I love Decidueye but even in lore it doesn't seem to have much reason to be a Ghost.

Oricorio and Marowak at least channel spirits or whatever but it's still odd.

Ghost is my favorite type. This gen was good.
I absolutely love Marshadow, Lunala, and Mimikyu.
I think Dhelmise, Pallosand, and Alolawak are alright.
I don't like decidueye though. I'm disappointed in our first ghost type starter.

I really want other mons to get a disguise variant. Like a matador who uses its cape to avoid the first attack the opponent uses. It could work differently to disguise too, where it includes status moves to avoid, but doesn't protect the user from any perfect hit moves like Aerial Ace and Hyperspace Hole.

I want Stars to give Mimikyu loads of forms of cutemons, each gaining a special move.
Regular form should get Volt Tackle, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle forms get Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant and Hydro Cannon, things like that.

As long as it doesn't get anything dumb like Shell Smash or V-Create it probably wouldn't be OP.

Both mimikyu and dhelmise are in my top 10 pokemon, absolutely love both since they were first seen. I don't get why people want evolutions, both work perfectly fine as single stage pokemon. Palossand, marowak, and decidueye are also great additions. The oricorio is weak but orocorio is just a dull as fuck pokemon honestly.

Overall as a ghostfag I'm pretty happy.

mimikyu is great. i would like it to have a physical electric move instead of 10,000 volts but I understand the flavour behind it just having that, and it does have a pretty solid movepool already.

decidueye looks fine but i have not used it.

i don't like the anchor much. i'm probably doing it wrong. it got boxed pretty quickly.

the sandcastle is neat, but again i haven't used it.

marowak is fantastic and basically what I would like marowak to have been the whole time.

i forgot lunala is a ghost. i dont really have any opinion of it other than nebby memes. after i caught it i nick'd it nebby and put it in the pc, gave it lillie's pokedoll to hold, and haven't done anything with it.

Not sure if this is off topic but I've never used a Misdreavus before and the one I caught early on has been kicking ass for me the entire game. There's so many ghosts to catch this gen I ended up replaying moon with a mono type ghost run with rowlet as my starter
