The Valor faggot's doing this because this town is basically Mystic domination with our little pocket of Instinct gyms. No Valor gyms stay up longer than a couple hours at most. Non-stable Instinct gyms last longer than Valor gyms. That's how sad Valor is around here.

He's doing this because he's a lv 20-something shitter who puts in a 2000 CP Vaporeon in the ONE gym he keeps trying to take because he thinks Valor is still better than Instinct or something.

If we were talking like a lv 1 or lv 5 gym, maybe he's just going for an easy target. But it's a lv 10 gym and he only bothers with one instead of the entire area, and he doesn't touch the lv 1-3 Mystic gyms that are next door. I really don't understand the thought process that goes through his mind.

it all depends on your playstyle as well as what moves the enemy mons have.
2 bar moves let you avoid damage and manage energy more efficiently, 1 bar moves are better if you don't give a damn about incoming damage and use them as soon as the bar is filled. 2 bars are also better for defenders.
Personally I really like Aqua Tail because it's pretty damn fast, so you can squeeze it squeeze it between defender's quick moves without taking damage.

Been playing this game super casually so I'm low level. Was on a walk just now and saw the local gym had weakmons in them so decided to cash in for my first ever coin.

With my low level there is no way I could hold onto the gym so I pretty much put one of my weakest pokemon in the gym so whomever that had the gym before could get them back easily but just as I leave the place a bunch of brown colored people rushed toward me and hurled abuse.
