Platinum. Sorry but HGSS is not the best. Now hold on, it's still a terrific game, I just enjoyed Platinum a lot more. HGSS is a close second to me though.

honestly i think hg/ss were the best games of the entire franchise.

platinum was better since it was more original. i'm ignoring D/P which was a beta version

hg/ss was good but there were some things i liked more about the original so they're not definitive remakes. while platinum shits on d/p in every way. so i'd say platinum is better
