Toxapex trys to venoshock twice but somehow doesnt poison dragonite. Two dragon dance to two ko toxapex with earquake. Gengar comes out i earthquake but sash and dazzling gleam destroys me. Then crit shadowball kills my Aegislash. He had 6iv and max hp evs. By then starmie is dead weight anyway.

It's funny how I have pretty awesome luck in the Battle Tree, but on Battle Spot, I swear the game wants me to lose. My opponent will pretty much always get all the crits and negative status against me while I will always miss sub-100 accuracy moves.

When your friends gang up on you it's infuriating but they're your friends just messing with you, so the frustration is all part of the fun. When the AI gans up on you it's a shitty feeling.

Also, big question to anyone who knows how the games work: Why the fuck is the RNG on all the facilities utter bullshit? What makes the game decide to need to punish the player by making the RNG work against their favor as often as humanly possible? This can't be just an illusion, the fucking AI often lands odds that are as low as 2%.

It does, you unlock super singles after getting to the 20th match in regular singles. Just giving your mons some moves more suited to more """advanced""" play and hold items is plenty for regular singles. That said rng and luck is always a factor.

It depends. Strong Jaw is generally better if you want to go out on an all out offensive with biting moves (since it powers them up by 1.5 times). However Dazzling can potentially give you a free switch in if you can correctly predict an incoming priority move.

I personally use Strong Jaw.

I've been running Megamence/Tapu Koko/AV Buzzwole and it's going great. The Tree likes to send Ghosts out on my Salamence because the set is DD/Double-Edge/EQ/Roost, so that's typically a free kill right there. AV Buzzwole is actually what I would consider my ace, since it's so goddamn bulky and still hits so wonderfully hard. And Tapu Koko shits out damage when I need it to while doing a remarkable job of not dying instantly to resisted hits.

It's an old game design trick gamefreak sucks at hiding. Any game mode where the player and CPU's always have the A.I cheat a little to compensate for the fact that humans are smarter then anything a game dev can make, they're supposed to hide the cheating though.

For example, loads of RTS's let the computer see everything in exchange for ordering it to hold back in some areas or just to balance it being retarded.
