It has won so many games for me. Parting shot is good for pivots if the opponent is using a tanky. And it's all around good stats allow it to normally survive more than 2 hits and counter sweep. It's definitely staying on my team.

I was thinking Skarmory, Togekiss, and either Toucannon, Celesteela, or Flying!Silvally. It'll depend on what kind of coverage I can get on Togekiss, since I know Skarmory's coverage isn't fantastic without Transfer to give me the egg moves.

This isn't my first mono-flying team for competitive reasons, but the last time I did this it was 5v5s and 6v6s, so 3v3 is a bit of a juggling act.

I had a lot of success with Choice Scarf. Braviary is stronger and bulkier than Intimidate Staraptor, but it's slow. Scarf makes it blazing fast.

If it's your last mon, you sometimes get screwed because you're locked into a bad move for their last mon, but what can you do? You can't have everything.

My favorite thing to do on battle spot, in X, was use my mono Normal team. In Doubles, I even used a regional rodent team and did pretty well.

If I kept track, I probably had something like a 50:50 or 60:40 loss to win ratio. That was good enough for me, considering I was handicapping myself.

What I'm trying to say is, don't get depressed over 5 battle spot losses. It's all random best-of-ones with a lot of OP legendaries mixed in. Sometimes you just get unlucky... but always try to learn from your losses. Pay attention to what outspeeds what, what Pokemon you can't 2HKO, etc.

What type are you using? Aegislash is something you really should have some kind of answer to, regardless.

In our format, Weakness Policy is the basic set. The stall set isn't seen much. Whether they go mixed, physical, or special, if you have anything in your type that can hold a Sash and OHKO it in shield mode, you're set. If not? Time to get more creative.

Mamoswine have anything special that fucks it? It has aharder time dealing with special attackers as king's shield fucks over physical attackers. Froslass is decent and has shadow ball but even then in shield mode and with a weakness policy I could just kill right back. I think for prebank none of the ice types can do much againest it.

The thing is, Froslass doesn't have much SpA in the first place, which is why I made her support.
I made Mamo bulky, which is why he eats up Leles and Kokos for breakfast, even though that doesn't really matter for this competition.
Earthquake doesn't OHKO, so my best option is to probably soften with Icicle Crash so as to not activate a Weakness Policy, pray for a flinch, then finish off with a quake.
I actually have a third emergency option in Cloyster. A +2 Hydro Pump OHKOs it, even in shield form.
Tried it again in Battle Spot, but it missed when I needed the hit.
