What's a good set for wishiwashi?
maybe a trick room team?
I use a bulky Aqua Ring set.
Wishiwashi-School @ Leftovers
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpF / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aqua Ring
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Surf
>>30802737
>Double STAB
Why?
>>30802749
For when your partner is weak to water or you want to hit just one opponent.
>>30802737
Does aqua ring actually help?
Also how many turns is it before it goes back to 1 wishiwashi?
>>30802808
>how many turns
It reverts to its solo form when it gets to 25% of its health or lower
>>30802829
Oh ok. I haven't even used one yet
>>30802808
It's suprisingly sturdy. With both Aqua ring and Leftovers active,it reagains 12% of health each turn so you will tank a a few supereffective hits.
>>30802737
>EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpF / 4 Spe
Isn't it be better to run 252 HP and spread the rest on defenses? This thing has very low HP and high defenses.
>>30802882
I haven't tested that,but it might work.
>>30802685
In singles, its best set is:
Choice Specs
Modest
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Def
- Hydro Pump
- Scald
- HP Fire / Ice Beam
- U-turn
It's a bulky pivot with a LOT of power. Works kinda like Banded Azumarill.
>>30802882
>>30802922
Seems like it would. In terms of percentage, an increase in HP would yield the most return in survivabilty.
>>30803180
I think I'll give that one a try.
Is adamant a good nature as well? I didn't realize its attack was just add good as its special attack
>>30803242
You could, but his attack movepool is not as good as his special movepool, which is already lacking a bit. Still, it might be worth it for the element of surprise.
>>30803242
Special is better, I'd say. An Adamant Wishiwashi only has Waterfall, Aqua Tail, and Return for physical sets, IIRC. It's not as powerful as Hydro Pump, plus you have to worry about contact damage from Ferrothorn.
It has low HP, so you need to invest in it to get the most bulk.
>>30802882
Yes because you want to keep it above 25% More HP and some Defensive investment will help that, as will Leftovers and Aqua Ring.
>>30802804
>aqua ring
>doubles/vgc
not worth it, go eq
>>30803346
it has earthquake and u-turn
>>30803396
EQ could be good to counter the electrics I guess.
>>30802685
I dunno how people run it in singles (most likely specs), I use this in doubles though.
Quiet
236 HP/ 216 Sp.Atk/ 60 Sp.Def
0 Speed IVs
-Muddy Water/Surf
-Ice Beam
-Scald/Endeavor
-Protect
No EQ because I have A-Marowak and even Krookodile in the back. This set is very fun under Trick Room and with Instruct. Not many Pokemon take two Surfs or Muddy Waters very well.
