Me. I never really like him. Probably since gen1/gen2 I hate how he was a water type but have high attack and low special attack and he looks rather ugly. If I want physical water I prefer Feligatr, even if his stats is shittier.

I've never whited out once in any of the games, but Gayrados has never gotten me closer.
Siebold's one in XY fucked me up so hard. It kept using dragon dance, I couldn't outspeed it and it kept OHKO-ing all of my dudes.
I had to resort to reviving my Gogoat who had rockyhelmet over and over until it killed itself.

I felt so fucking disgusting afterwards, I rematched him straight away and led with a taunt. I fukt him that time.

One of my all-time favorites. I liked him so much I would buy the Mt. moon Magikarp in gen 1 so I could start training him immediately. I'm glad he's still relevant in Alola.

I don't really dislike it, but it is everywhere. It's one of those Pokemon that becomes boring to use as it's in nearly every game, especially in Nuzlockes. Stuck for a party member? Old Rod literally everywhere and get a guaranteed Gyarados provided you don't lose Magikarp through grinding.
