You always need a mon that is bulky but has high attack or sp. Attack, raw power to destroy walls and stallers, and a staller. A-muk works wonders. Porygon2 with eviolite is my staller.

I tried using Aegislash, M-Salamence, and Tapu Fini and then Wally fucked me over at Battle 40

Aegislash can set up fairly easily, and if not it then Mega Salamence can, while Tapu Fini is just there to take on Dragons and bulky Grounds. Tapu Fini's Misty Surge also helps protect Aegislash from status. The only problem was that my Tapu Fini's set probably wasn't that great, mostly because I have no idea what the hell kind of set to give it.

I used Kartana, Nihilego and M-Metagross for super singles. Never got past 30 in Multi tho, it just seems unreal, the AI is too cancerous

you have to grind to 50. It will automatically lower your level if above 50, but won't raise it.

Grinding is ridiculously easy this game. Just turn on xp share, give a lucky egg and fight like 10 wild battles in the grass outside of battle tree and you're done

up until gen 6 Salamence was hilariously useful at removing entire teams due to the combo of dragon dance and outrage (aka the win button)
gen 6 introduced fairy types almost for the sole purpose of stopping outrage (since mence and chomp could outrage anything they didn't eq to death)
then ORAS revealed megamence, which was even more retarded than ever before. not only did it have a 100 point base stat bonus, it came with aerilate. So instead of having STAB outrage with a 120 base bp which had few SE options but was hilariously effective on almost everything else after a d-dance, you got STAB thrash with a 156 (now 144) base, SE against bugs, grass, and fighting, on a mence which basically came pre-danced. Literally the most balanced change ORAS could have added in.
