I have used it on every box legendary since RBY, but the temptation to use the moon ball on Mahina Pea was too great. So I ended up using it on Tapu Koko, because I aged 107 years in the time it took to get from the Lunala encounter to pass the e4, attend the 4th of July picnic, fuck Lillie in a cave and finally encounter that rooster before eight thousand other cutscenes had to play so I could finally wait a millennium for the credits to roll.

I don't care about catch rates, even more so in newer games since it's a lot easier to catch legendary pokemon. For me, master balls were intended for the main legendary of the game so that's what I traditionally use them on.

I usually would save it for if I meet a shiny that can blow up or otherwise KO itself.

Theoretically you can get multiple masterballs since IIRC its the top prize in the trainer ID lotto isn't it? its just very unlikely that you will have a perfect match for that.

Used it on topu fini when I realized I didn't have the time for this shit.

I took Oak's advice and caught a Tentacool. It's surfing through Wonder Trade now.

Only Mewtwo. Shinies aren't exactly hard to get, I got a dozen in friend safari by just running around mindlessly while watching a show or something.

I used it on a particularly annoying Politoed after like an hour of chaining. He Perish Song'd and I wasn't having ANY of that bullshit.
