Team R8 thread?
>>30792254
>Ribombee
I mean it's a great looking mon, but how would one even POSSIBLY make it useful
>>30792376
Quiver dance? I mean it is frail but outspeeds 90% of Alolamons so just bug buzz/moonblast everything before it hits you?

Predict dragon move on choiced mon.
Switch in, set up as they switch out.
Sweep.
>>30792254
I agree about the Ribombee thing

Brety gud anon, I had the same fwg core and they served me well
I've heard Palossand isn't that great though but I've never used one so I don't know
>pick whatever looks cool
>end up making a waifu team that needs to be carried on Snorlax's back
also Primarina turned out to be a lot better than I thoughtshe'd be.

Here's my team, I was lucky enough to get a prisim stone from my meowth just before the water trial so right now my feebas is chillin in the GTS, probably sent off to some Jap. Also crabrawler is going to be replaced along the way, he just came along at a good time to help take down olivia.
>>30792254
4/6, not a fan of wishiwashi, and turtonator.
>>30792431
I don't even know how to rate this team, I feel like this is some weird gimmicky doubles team and can't fathom how it would work well in the singleplayer. Props for creativity I guess.
>>30792561
4/6 team, I don't dislike any of the pokemon on your team but I feel like you just went through and picked the easiest pokemon to beat the game with, I hope you at least have exp share off.
>>30792738
6/6 Shiinotic is one of my favorites this gen, GF actually did a great job adding decent grass types in these games.
>>30793379
oops forgot team pls forgive me for my idiocy and have mercy with the sick burns
If alolamon weren't 3% encounter rate this would have been different
>>30793500
>2 trade evos
gross dude
tried using types i normally don't use, but i can't decide on the last two slots, i'm thinking an ice type and maybe a dragon or another bug like vikavolt or something. maybe even eggsecutor
>>30793562
I'm sorry I have friendsand (You)'s
>>30793500
It doesn't appear to be stopping most everyone else in this thread...
>>30793573
You could grab the fire turtle for fire/dragon coverage
>>30793573
I recommend Bruxish, Mimikyu, and Golisopod if you're looking for "unique pokemon". All 3 are kind of gimmick pokemon that just tear through the singleplayer.
>>30792254
Your taste is all over the board and I love it
>>30792431
You like cute mons and that's p cute
>>30792561
You really dig mons with exterior bits that either layer up or "whisp" outwards!
>>30792738
I wouldn't use a single mon on your team so that's kinda neat
>>30793159
You need to give more new Pokemon a chance. Waifu/10
>>30793268
Nearly identical to my best friend's team
>>30793407
You're gonna kill in junior league
>>30793484
No real opinion here. Wouldn't use most of these mons
>>30793500
you are afraid of change
>>30793573
Good build thus far!
>>30793831
>>30793484
This guy.
I wouldn't use these mons either, and in fact the team I had planned prior to release was vastly different, but all of these fellas turned out to be bro-tier material.
Pic somewhat related
>>30793912
Pretty excited to use this guy. I heard mixed reviews but I'm excited to give it a spin
>>30794016
His coverage could be a bit better, but other than that, this little guy pleasantly surprised me a lot of times.
As far as in-game team is concerned though, you just absolutely must keep him healthy, once he unschools, you lose a turn before he schools again. And in that turn, he's very fragile and easy target. It's best to switch out and let other mon take the hit while you heal him up.
Up until lvl. 20 I thought badly of Wishiwashi, thought of him as just another 'filler' mon. But that thing is a beast. And since I care and all my bros have max affection in Pokemon refresh, they do all sorts of things to return the love.
But even with these things considered, he's my top bro, along with Bewear.
>>30792417
It get's quiver dance? nice
well i wanted an excuse to try and use it, i just looked at the stats and peaced it, maybe now i'll breed one, thx anon
>>30793159
>Waifu team
>Umbreon
Dangerously Furry
>>30794016
Wishiwashi is good when you get him but he's pretty severely outclassed later on by Araquanid and Pelipper, they actually outdamage wishiwashi, are tankier due to wishi's shit hp stat, outspeed wishi, and have generally much better movesets.
>>30794154
>>30794299
Thanks anons, I'll probably still pick one up but might grab Araquanid for the ride and potential switch
>>30792254
