My biggest problem is that there's no replacement for the old Exp Share. It was perfectly acceptable to have a strong Pokemon help train a single weak Pokemon with the Exp Share, but now it's either FULL PARTY or nothing.

I played this game on Set, Exp. Share off, no grinding rule and no battle/healing items rule.

Took me 60 hours to beat the main story. Best pokemon games ever.

You could always take only your pokemon and the pokemon you want leveled and use exp share so it technically only affects the one pokemon.

Im doing a Nuzlocke rn with Set and Exp share off. I just got to the 2nd island and 4 of my pokemon already died.
