Ground is obvious, it's the defender of the ecosystem, or an area in general.
Dragon makes sense since it is a huge fucking serpent, which are often seen as draconic, or even as proper dragons. I admit that explanation works worse for Complete and doesn't explain 10% at all.

Its ground typing is obviously cus its the protector of earth along with the ecosystem, we can also add in the fact that the 50% form is based on the world serpent from norse mythology that "binds" the whole world together.

Its 2 other forms are also based upon norse mythology at least the dog, which is based upon Fenrir the wolf, while the Complete form (fucking sucks that it isnt a permanent form, fuck gf for this) appears to draw inspiration from Hel, the daughter or whatever of Loki which embodies/is life and death if I recall correctly.

It's typing is fine, though if this was the 20th or something new Ground/Dragon type, then I'd agree.
