If you have a Pokemon with synchronize as the leader of your party, any Pokemon encountered has a 50% chance of having the same nature as the synchronize Pokemon. Abra is the easiest synchronize Pokemon to encounter.

If you lead your party with a Pokemon with Synchronize, all wild Pokemon will have a 50% chance of having the same nature as that lead. So if you have a Timid Abra as your lead Pokemon, whatever you encounter has a 50% chance of being Timid as well. The lead can be KOd too.
I also think this is new to SM, but Synchronizers also now work 100% of the time on gifted Pokemon, like the Type: Null Gladion gives you, and the Cosmog at the ruins
