I don't feel like doing the math, but even if a switch out happened, an Adamant Scizor with 252 Attack could 2HKO the average Dark type with Pursuit, couldn't it?

Crustle can sweep most things that aren't Sturdy or ridiculously high powered walls after a Shell Smash and convert a lot of almost-kills into guaranteed ones with support. Anything that kills it gets Fell Stingered/Sucker Punched by Ariados or it runs and you get to set Sticky Web. Being Poison, it also clears Tox Spikes. Araquanid is your WoW switch in and hits incredibly hard against anything that doesn't resist it while having the bulk to switch in a couple times. Mega Pinsir cleans up. Scizor is Scizor. Golisopod is a good revenge killer and the threat of Priority STAB scares people which might even let you run Swords Dance on it to fire off +2 Aqua Jets and Sucker Punches.

The other options are for additional support. Leavanny has a massive Fire weakness but a lot of versatility since, while not being extremely good at any one thing it can switch in on Powders, set Webs, is decently fast and gets Fell Stinger. Ribombee can Quiver Dance and sweep but is less capable of pulling it off without support than Crustle. Heracross is unavailable pre-Bank but you can bet ya boi would love the strongest bug.

You do realize even After STAB and evs in attack+adamant, you'll only 3HKO a defensive Arcenine? Why not go for the full 2HKO with 80 STAB and tough out the damage?
