Sinnoh remakes are confirmed basically at this point but not because of the honey. They've had the exact same description in every game since DPP. In fact a lot of items do, like the Rare Bone and Mushrooms that indicate there's a maniac who will buy them still (there's not, at least for the last few games)

What you want to look for is merch; Pokemon Company isn't stupid and starts putting those Pokemon into their merchandise lines. They did ir before HGSS, and they did it before ORAS. They just released a handful of stuff for the holiday with the pixie trio on it and I'm kind of believing Rotom waa chosen to almost be a main character because of the remakes as well.

It's just going to be Diamond, Pearl and Platinum on the eShop...
