Anorith and Kabuto. Cranidos, Lileep, Archen, and the Gen 6 fossils are great too.

Fossils are the best subset of Pokemon.

Amaura is the first time I ever cared about fossil Pokemon or added one to my team, mostly because it's the cutest fucking thing I have ever laid eyes on.

Absolutely love Carracosta and Bastiodon, I just wish the latter was even decent.

So here's my issue with alot of fossil pokemon.
Kabuto is the dome fossil. Okay the fossil kinda consists of the whole pokemon, same with the helix, root and a few others.

However tyrunt and...iceasaurus
piss me off because it's like one piece of the pokemon. And in at least the earlier games the fossil pokemon were "revived" from the process. Which is why aerodactyl doesn't have a "fossil" except they pull a jurassic park thing.

Idk why but that always bugged me.

That and that aerodactyl is the only fossil mega.
No mega kabutops. No mega tyrantrum.
And since megas seem to be dead there's little hope for them to be added

Archeops just comes from a feather, cranidos is just the head dome, anorith is just a claw, all the ones with shells are just empty shells.. None of them are "complete". It's quite clear that all they need is DNA and that's always been how it is (hence aerodactyl).

All of them are great pokemon though. Probably my favorite category of pokemon overall. So fuck Gen 7 for leaving them out.

Kabutops for sure. He's in my top 6 of all pokes.

Though with a recent playthrough of moon, I do really like Spookychu and Minior.

I really like kabutops and omastar. I really wish kabutops had more speed to make it viable.
