Ice, with Ninetales/Froslass/Mamoswine/Weavile/Cloyster/Crabortion.
Normally, Mamoswine and Mr. Crabs cover my Steel weakness, but Scizor stands out because of the fact that he resists both of their secondary STABs.
Not to mention the SE Technician Bullet Punch.

Does anyone want to battle using the /mgc/ rules?
I'm trying to decide on a type.

I'm pretty sure none of the ice-types I can use can learn a Fire move, except for Hidden Power.
Except Silvally, but I don't want to carry an otherwise mediocre team member just to counter a single Pokemon.

If it wasn't Scizor, it would be some other Steel mon. Sylvally might be what you need. Try one out on Showdown or something to see if it pulls its weight.

I'm having that same issue right now feeling like I don't have enough coverage against BP Scizor.
Looking into every single Fairy type mon right now seeing what can live a hit decently or at least okayish to hit with a fire move it may or maynot have.
I'm already looking into Cotton Guard Whimsicott to deal with it, highly doubt it will help at all but hey it's better than the other idea I have which needs me to use something that might not be fully useful for anything else.

But I'd probably replace Crab for it, which means I'd lose Bulk Up + Z-Close Combat wallbreaking.
I'm not sure if Cloyster can truly replace Crab as a boost attacker.

I only suggested Showdown because I didn't know if you had access to your Sylvally yet. You gotta level the hecker up to level 85 for Parting Shot, so... yeah. If you already have yours ready to go, by all means try it out here or in battle spot, which will give you better data due to level 50, the meta, etc.

Ice gets famously fucked by scizor, my best advice having run it before it to just build your team as best you can and hope you don't run into one. You can't possibly cover all of ice's weaknesses, so just do what you can, don't bother having one mon or move dedicated to checking a single poke.

I love sableye and want to karenfag and also skipped out on ORAS so I never really tested the megas but the mega is just too cancerous. Is there a stall friendly but not ridiculous set for it? The current smogon set gives it fucking WoW as it's main offensive move. I'm fine with stall but this is ridiculous.

My condolences. Trying to legit EV train is a pain in the ass in SM. You eed BP from the battle tree for EV items but at the same time the battle tree is absolute bullshit even with pokemon with perfect IVs and EVs. I don't want to be another 'just hack' guy, you play however you want, but I suggest against it.

pelago is super ez pz to ev train, since you can do it while you are not playing
so, just drop ur bbys before going to sleep, and while u go to work or do stuff for the day ur pokes will be fully trained
for each play session u get 4 evs
so put them to play 63 sessions to max a stat, then drop beans to halve the time, it should take 15 hours, and you can train 18 pokes at the same time on different stats

Was a ton of fun. Interested in what you run on gengar. I gave my mimikyu a life orb so I went with specs for gengar. Personally I have to say mimikyu eally is better off as a sweeper then a trick room setter. Also why did you do the SD with marowak? You could've killed my sableye with shadow bone.

Looks like my only options are Parting Shot/Swords Dance and 3 coverage moves, but I don't think that'll be good enough, considering his unspecialized base stats.

Isn't froslass a good decent sp.a sweeper? Smogon lists it as a hazard setter but 110 base speed with STAB ice beam and shadow ball seems pretty nice.

But I made her more of a support mon with WoW, Shadow Ball, D-Bond, and i forgot the last move for some reason
WoW lets Mamo and Crab take advantage of their bulk, and might let the others survive for an extra turn or two.
Maybe I can replace it with Thunder Wave.
Destiny Bond isn't really for taking down enemies, it's for letting her survive an extra turn to apply burn or throw a Shadow Ball.
I went with Shadow Ball instead of Ice Beam because everyone else carries Ice moves anyway.
