I went blind, i legit didnt expect to see something like Necrozma and i was fucking amazed.
Some mate told me to go to ten carat hill after the UB story so i followed through.

i went in knowing what necrozma was but didn't realize that was what Looker was talking about. Also didn't know where he said it was as I was probably just mashing A. I went to that place since I realized I had it blacked out on my map. Didn't realize it was a low level area and was checking out what pokemon were there

It came out of nowhere for me. I was Stoutland sniffing for all the hidden items I missed, with repels up, and it just popped up. I was completely ill-equpped for it and it wiped out my mons at hand, so I had to start from my last save an hour beforehand, catch it, then rediscover all those hidden items. It was a pain, but the legitimate surprise was cool in retrospect.

I know this is a meme, but hear me out:

In the Azoth Triangle (pictured), the cube at the bottom is interpreted a chunk of Aether, which is what the night sky was believed to be made of. Early scientists believed that light conducted through it, which is how it traveled through space. This essentially describes Necrozma perfectly.

Also, the message around the circle reads "Visita Interiora Terræ Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem," essentially meaning "Visit the interior of the earth and [by] purifying [yourself] you will find the hidden stone”. Guess who was found underground at Ten Carat Hill, a known site of an underwater volcano?

Also:

Looker talked about Nekrozma but I hadn't paid attention or he didn't specify Ten Carat Hill so I never knew where it was. Looking it up would defeat the suprise of encountering Nekrozma but I wasn't going to go on a wild goose chase for one Pokemon

I had no reason to even go to Ten Carat Hill because nothing I want is there

Because people using Beast Balls on "totally UB" Pokémon is driving me nuts. If they were UBs then they'd have normal catch rates. And if you wanted a challenge, you'd do Beldum in a Beast Ball right?

Do people not know that Gamefreak removed uncatchable legendaries generations ago? I keep hearing so much "You have to go through cutscenes to recatch Koko" or "I made it faint so I lost all my progress since last save".

I legit got freaked out a little when the music practically went dead silent and it suddenly appeared completely in frame. Possibly the best encounter in a Pokemon game.
