I seriously cant imagine why would they allow walking pokemon after going with realistic models in SM. Seriously? Can you imagine walking with Wailord, Groudon or Onix in Paniola Town or Seafolk Village?

Also there's many paths where Pokemon like tauros and stoutland cant fit through so you have to disable them. I cant see them having walking pokemon

Why the fuck would they put in eight times the work if that was the case? What poke finder spots are prime locations for region-specific legendaries and other ultra-rare mons that aren't even in the regional dex, let alone walking/running around in plain sight next to highly trafficked areas?

I mean, if you're going to talk about absurd walking mons, turn that back on your own ideas and see how well they hold up.

considering even the O3DS has no problem handling live engine-generated cutscenes and clusterfuck overworld scenery complete with animations he's not really that wrong

but who knows, they can't even make a 2D battle menu system that doesn't make everything eat shit (seriously, watch closely and see when frames really start dropping in doubles) so they'd probably find a way to fuck up followers too
