I can't be the only one who thinks baby pokemon were a good way to begin the release of gen 2.

However, it was a STUPID idea to make them exclusive to eggs. It just seems really greedy on Niantic's part since you have a better chance of getting the new Pokemon by buying incubators.

they happen to make good defenders if they have confusion/psychic, both are good defending moves
psychics weakness is bug, and its a little iffy to get a good bug attacker reliably, and even when you do their moves arent all that great

psychic is good against poison, which happens to overlap with most of gen 1 grass types, but you don't often see grass dudes like venusaurs/victreebels in gyms because they were shafted by niantic's stupid CP system in conjunction with their poor translation of main game stats
also good vs fighting but you wont see them defending gyms either
otherwise you might find them useful to just use for general things like a snorlax where you dont have a good type advantage and just need something with STAB and good moves
