Grassbro here, despite it's weaknesses i always loved the grass types, specially with the cool designs they get most of the time

Pic related is a fan design for a grass/dragon starter i saw, it looks pretty cool and i want a true Grass/dragon instead of a mega evo or an alola form

Bug, easily. My team building is always me just trying not to add more bugs.

Normal is #1. My #2 spot is split between half a dozen other types. Bug, Poison, Grass, Ice, Fairy, Rock

Sadly, I'm a rock fag. It hurts to see all of the mons from my favourite type get destroyed by better types like Steel and water.

But I have Nihilego and Ttar, so that's cool

As of Gen 7, I'm not sure if I have a favorite type anymore. Ghost still overall has the most solid designs, but I don't really like it including stuff like Decidueye and Oricorio now. Steel and Dark are also in my top 3, and they ended up getting pretty cucked as far as quantity goes (though I do love the UBs they got).

Meanwhile 2 types I had previously dismissed as boring (Water and Flying) each got more designs I like than usual. Namely, Celesteela, Minior, and the water bugs. Actually, now that I mention it, Bug might be my current favorite.

Bug and fairy. No matter what I do, I always find these two types making up my teams.

Rock, Steel, and Normal. I fucking hate Fighting types.

Ice is my favourite type even though it's a pretty awful typing overall, but I'm glad it was buffed a bit with more snow warning users, slush rush and Aurora veil.
My second favourite type is a tie between poison and electric probably.
Least favourite is either fighting or psychic.

Poison has always been my favorite, as a bonus it even has the coolest z-move.

Normal is my favorite type. I really love all of the Normal hybrids that have been introduced in recent gens. After that it's probably a tie between Fairy and Psychic. I really like healer/healing Pokemon and they usually end up in these types.

I'm Electric all the way, and while I started with Fire being my second favorite type (and almost always my preferred starter), Ghost and Fairy I think are fighting for the #2 spot now.

One day I'll figure out an electric team for random battle spot battles but I'm much too lazy to figure out synergy.

I was so excited for all the electric types unveiled pre-release but Oricorio and Vikavolt were so disappointing. I never came across Togedemaru early enough to use it, and I haven't beaten the game yet so I haven't been able to try out Tapu Koko or Xurkitree but those three look like I'll enjoy them.

I've always loved fire the best, but this gen got me especially stoked because of all the awesome, diverse fire types. Finally got to do a mono-type run like I've always wanted.

Electric is prooobably second, with Ice a distant third.

It's hard to decide, but oversll I would say spot one goes to poison and my sevcond favorite is dark.

Fairy because I love pink and girly things.

I've always loved both Bug and Ground but as of Gen VII I'm gonna say Bug, the type's just got so many diverse designs and fun ideas that it's hard not to like. Favorite bugs are probably , Shuckle, Escavalier and Araquanid

Poison and Bug. Gen 7 was kind to both, especially Bug after the terrible Gen 6.

I never think of it as a main type but it's flying. A bunch of my bros are flying type but I usually associate them with their primary typing

I've loved grass types since Gen 1 with Bulbasaur as my starter and for a while it was my favorite type. But then in Gen 2 and later in Gen 5 with Heracross and Volcarona, respectively, Bug type became my clear favorite and every team I've used has had at least 2 Bug types. For a while I liked Psychic type quite a bit thanks to Alakazam and Gardevoir, but once Fairy type was introduced, I thought it was really well designed and is on the verge of replacing Psychic

Ground and Poison are my two favorite types, with Dark following in 3rd. Ground is a solid and reliable type through and through, and poison and dark always have a lot of interesting moves and provide great back up.
