I have 2ds and a o3ds, Planning to buy a yellow pikachu edition, but having doubts since Switch is coming next year. should I still buy it? or save for switch

we know nothing about the switch aside from the fact that is have Zelda, a bunch of ports of existing games playable on the 360 and PS3 and at least 8 shitty Mario games
you know exactly what the library of the 3ds/n3ds is, so if you can snag one cheaply then do it. worst case scenario it's an investment to tide you over until the switch actually drops.
if you can only afford one, i would wait, but i already have a 3ds so my opinion is irrelevant

3ds was released in Feb (JP)/March (NA) of 2011
Pokemon X and Y were announced in January of 2013 iirc and were released that October
