I've been having a lot of success with Vikavolt in rain. STAB Thunder from full Special Attack investment hits like a goddamn truck, and there are very few things that OHKO it with full HP investment, or 2HKO it with a Sitrus Berry.

Using Charge when anticipating a switch or Protect is also shenanigans. Its only real threat is probably Marowak-A, but I've been using it mostly as an Anti-UB stallbreaker, and A-Marowak doesn't really like getting hit by rain-boosted Water attacks anyway.
