Is anyone familiar with this? Sometimes when a pokemon starts to evolve, for one or two frames, the evolved form appears in the top left corner right as the screen fades in from black. It doesn't happy every time, but I did notice it a fair few times. I wasn't actually able to snap a shot of it, I had to record video and screen grab from that. It's too quick to be a "spoiler".

I don't know where I found it, but there was a batch of QR codes that was being passed around for literally every Pokemon there is, for pokedex/QR scanning purposes.

Pic Related, should show up as Shiny Giratina Origin Form if you scanned it right now, but unfortunately it wouldn't register in your Alola dex since there isn't a listing for Giratina.

The batch is complete with every form and shiny, including AZ's Eternal Floette

Nature however. Cannot. It's both the easiest to decide and the most influential to your Pokemon.

Spore and False Swipe is all you need.
Mean Look, Taunt, Foresight or Soak help sometimes depending on what you're catching.
Not sure if those are available to Sketch in this excuse of a dex.

Also the event Munchlax has Hold Back which is identical to False Swipe and learns Yawn as Snorlax at lvl 20, so that might be much easier.

Doing what I did yesterday because an anon asked. This is the list of berry dyes and what they require. This is if you get a 5 star dye booth of any color. Now how do you get one?

So I'm a complete idiot novice when it comes to Pokemon eugenics. Should I be trying to get 6IV Dittos in all the popular natures, or do I just need the one and then get the mom/dad with the desired nature? That way, the mom/dad would have an Everstone to pass down the species and nature, and the Ditto would pass some of the IVs with the Destiny Knot.

When are EVs applied? I EV trained a Pokémon and I am using it in the Battle Tree but I am worried that not all of the EVs have been added to the stats.
I think some games they are added in little bits over the 100 level progression but in others they are added when it next levels and in some they are added as soon as you get them.

Haven't tried it myself but the purpose of it is to bring the stat up to what would be "best" on the IV judge so if it is already there it wouldn't be able to be trained. I would just put them on Isle evelup at level 1 and train their IV's that way it takes about 32ish hours to finish 2 stats but it is a lot better than EV training individual mons at a time for me. As far as I know, if they go over 50 and they haven't been full EV trained it doesn't have any effect you can finish as normal. I EV train all my stuff on isle evelup even though I have power items and pokerus unless I need that mon ASAP.

The stats still increase as it should be on level up but they will be EV trained fully. It's 63 play sessions with the appropriate drink to max a stat. I haven't payed too much attention to how their stats increase like HP because when I level them at the elite 4 they get to level 30ish from one trainer so it's hard to keep track of. No, you want to put the gible on isle evelup at level 1 to EV train THEN level it up to 50. Leveling it up on random mons will mess up the EV's unless you KO the appropriate mons for the stats. You can reset mons EV's with the appropriate berries and you should grow a lot of them and leppa at the pelago though but that's unnecessary if you do it right.

XY is pretty fun, but it's an easy game, even by Pokemon standards. There's also a problem of not a single fucking character being well-written. Seriously, your mother probably has the best backstory and character writing in the game, and like every other mother in the game she's almost entirely irrelevant after you get your starter.

Still, the game's enjoyable and the breeding is easy mode.
