Or maybe it's just yet another overspeculation concerning a Pokemon and/or a Pokemon's design inspiration, or really any sort of Pokemon-related theory that no one will ever know the truth about because Gamefreak will never confirm nor deny any of these, and we will probably all die not knowing whether or not a good chunk of the actually feasible Pokemon theories and speculations were true or false

For anyone who doesn't understand.

Gluttony: Guzzlord. That's LITERALLY its UB codename. There is absolutely no debate about this one.

Envy: Nihilego. Only exists to mimic and attach to others.

Pride: Buzzwole. Constantly showing off its gains, and is outright speculated by the dex to be boasting.

Lust: Pheromosa. The fluff is that it can make anything horny for it regardless of gender.

Greed: Xurkitree. Said to have raided a power plant. Literally power hungry. It also that has "that" aura.

Sloth: Celesteela. All of its movement animations are slow. Spends most of its time sitting on its thick ass, and is plant-like despite not being a Grass type. Even when flying its body itself remains as still as possible. Has that sleepy princess aura.

Wrath: Kartana. Said to instantly cut anything down if provoked. Only sheer wrath could give such a tiny piece of paper a 180 attack stat.

We're in the gen of alchemy references. You're denser than lead if you deny any of this
Actual reaching would be trying to apply the sins to the seven trial captains. Far too many people have noticed and talked about these resemblances for it to just be a coincidence.

It wouldn't surprise me if they had the sins in mind when designing aspects of the ultra beasts. Wouldn't be close to the first time a religious reference found its way into pokemon.
