I really hope they pull an AZ Floette where Pikachu has stats that are close to Raichu's. That's the only reason one would even consider using the Z-move, Pikachu needs the light ball to even do a modicum of damage.

I've proposed this before, but the Pikachu Z Crystals should have the current Light Ball's effects, while the original is buffed to give a speed buff as well.
I was sad that I had to stop using Catastropika after around Olivia.
