If they ever did a region based on Australia, I think a Grass/Fire burning tree to represent bushfires would be a pretty obvious choice.

A Halloween pumpkin would have been a good fit for Grass/Fire as well, but with Pumpkaboo existing it seems less likely now.

They could always go the boring route and staple Normal onto Pokemon that are otherwise monotype, like Heliolisk and Pyroar.

While Dragonite is one of my absolute favorite Pokemon, I see what you're saying. I just dont think Dragonair was meant to be the final evo though. Maybe it's because I grew up with it, but Dragonair evolving into Dragonite is pretty cool to me. Yes, Dragonite doesn't look like Dragonite at all, but I think the designs and the evolutionary line just work really well.

If it's just a mod, anything goes if you want it too, so maybe you could make a romhack or something. I've always thought that would be fun.

Just got done changing types around. Also, I added more to the total stats of almost every final stage poke, excluding legendaries. Didn't make anything op, just needed up some of the weaker mons and tried to balance things out. Now I have to edit a few moves. Then edit trainer teams.
