I don't give a single shit about competitive Pokemon in the slightest but just the fact that this flawed ass system exists and that usually my ingame Pokemon are worthless for online play pisses me off. Which is very ironic because I have no desire to play Pokemon with other people.

I do this too. At the most I use trade mons for breeding if they have Hidden Abilities/Good IVs and Nature.

I also can't use a Pokemon that there aren't canonically multiples of. It bothers me that some random 11 year old kid is just allowed to use some ultra-rare one of a kind mon. Especially if it plays a deity like role which is why I can't use the Tapus.

Not really sure how autistic it is, but I never use any Pokemon with a quadruple weakness, I don't care how good it is.

I make sure my moves are always arranged something like

>other coverage, arranged in type order according to the Pokedex
>any other Status moves

Z-Conversion Porygon-Z is making me question if I should put all Status moves after Physical/Special, regardless of if they're signature or setup moves.

I breed and train boxfuls of Pokemon to be battle-ready and come up with team ideas that could theoretically stand up to the stuff you'd find in Battle Spot but I rarely ever battle online because I know I'll lose so these Pokemon go unused.

I haven't done any of the post game in Sun until I can transfer my team from Alpha Sapphire, I consider it my "canon" team

it's just a habit I picked up when I first started playing the games after Red/Blue/Yellow, but I never use legendaries during the main game. I think it's less fun since their stated so much better than anything a trainer is going to have.

I have a shiny Gigalith named Blue (from Borderlands 2) and I did the same thing

I don't do this anymore but when I was little I would always grind my team against Pokemon that had a type advantage over them. I thought it would make them "used to getting hit with a super effective move" and make them stronger in the long run than if I was always putting them in fights where they would have the advantage.

I order my team from least to highest level, with same levels ordered from least HP to most HP. Odd habit I've picked up from playing over the years. I also usually ONLY catch what I plan to use, so I end up with anywhere from 6 to 8 Pokemon total.

Forgot to mention that I keep all of my teams levels within 5 levels of each other, save for my starter who I always train to be 5 levels higher than the highest leveled Pokemon I have that isnt the starter.

I use traded mons of pokemon like Mimikyu, Zubat, Magikarps etc. Especially when I got a Mimikyu during my first run of sun through wondertrade. I thought it felt unloved, and used it like it was my own.

I also like to think of me and my pokemon having their own tv show together, and I play a montage in my head with them and I. Other than that I cant really think of autistic things i've done.

I try to roleplay as much as I can in Pokemon games. I have to visit a restaurant at least once every day and if I'm going to save and stop playing I try and find a spot by the road that looks like a good camping spot or I have to save at a Pokemon center. I catch everything in basic Pokeballs and all of my legendaries in Ultra Balls.

The only exception I've made in SuMo is catching Ultra Beasts in Beast Balls because it seemed thematically apropos.

When I was a kid playing Blue, I refused to use healing items and I would restart if a pokemon broke out of a ball because WHAT IF I NEED THOSE ITEMS LATER?

Nowadays I just throw items all over the place because I realize I'm never going to run out of anything you can buy.

I never nickname pokemon. Dunno why, I just don't like it.
