>Ratta and Koratta are laying waste to the island's fields. In response, Satoshi goes to meet with Island King Hala, an influential man on the island, as well as a key person in the "Island Pilgrimage" he is challenging. Satoshi immediately tells Hala he will be attempting the Island Pilgrimage, but Hala tells him he needs to be tested to make sure he is qualified for the pilgrimage first.

Well, she's in the Sun/Moon games, so maybe not. Though I'll grant that Serena is more significant if she was around for a whole season before she left (and obviously more recent as well).

She might look small but there is no confirmation of her age anywhere, she could be older/younger.

The only thing that implies youth are her animations where she does "cheerful jumping" like Hau does, but Hau is at least 11 and she could just act immature. Her speech is quite mature, but that could be a result of being an orphan.

Until some kind of canon material draws some boundaries for us, (i.e. Mallow mentioning that her time as Captain is coming to a close fairly soon,) no guess will be accurate.
