My gym would be a haunted house with a maze of crooked furniture that would change constantly. There would be no trainers but instead you would battle the haunters, gengars and duskulls moving the furniture.

I like it but it feels more like a trial than a gym.

My gym leader would be a failed stage magician that kept trying to impress challengers with not very good magic acts as they progressed through the gym. The gym itself would be a kid friendly version of a cabaret, a little run down and worn out, with the gym trainers generally commenting on that they think all the hocus pocus is silly but they put up with it for the gym leaders sake. Winning gets you the Spook Badge and the Trick Room TM (which is a move the gym leader would try to use often with his slow bulky ghosts).

My gym would be just a maze with trainers. It would probably look like my Secret Base in ORAS - wooden floor, leaf walls and some hedge and berry trees

Guy Geir, a buttoned down curator of an interactive musuem of ancient gadgetry and technological advancement through the ages as it relates to pokemon. He rambles about how computers are based upon the brain functions of the Beldum line, and how much further back than that humans came to emulate the Clingclang line in order to create the first complex mechanical devices.

His gym's gimmick is the navigation of several mechanical conveyors and rotating intersections which have variable timings that can be set based on their gear-boxes. Incorrect timing combinations will get you sent back to the beginning along a path with one of the "engineers" who are also the gym underlings. The correct timing of course will have you navigate the entire complex machine, but you have to fight the obligatory trainers at the switch panels to set the timings first.

He is secretely a huge tokusatsu nerd and favors his Bisharp heavily.

Depends on the Pokemon. Bugsy and Guzma have theirs at the helm of the team due to how their ace Pokemon's moves or ability works. Bugsy his Scyther up front to show case U-turn for instance, while Guzma has Golisopod up front to show off First Impression + Emergency Exit.

shedinja in a type gym seems like a bad idea since challengers are going to pick mons strong against ghost.
also, nincada evolves at lvl 20, so youre not going to have one for the first maybe second gym.
you have a grass/flying until the 5th gym as well

The gym would be at some sort of naval port or seaside town with a large harbour, the gym itself being a large battleship during construction, where trainers would have to walk over scaffolding, girders and the barely completely areas of the ship until finally coming up to the bridges for the final gym leader fight.

A dreamlike mist permeates the gym, and the ceiling and walls are done up to look like a star-filled night sky. There would be moving clouds that take you from one trainer to another. Each trainer could personalize their own space to make it more comfy for them and emphasize individuality and free-spiritedness.

At the back wall of the gym would be a large light that emulates the moon, and in front of it is where I would be as it shines down on my battles.

Don't really have a badge design so I left it blank smeargles moveset would get better the higher the badge tier and ditto would gain imposter on the 5th badge

I always have a hard time with these. I figured this team presented the best "one Pokèmon probably won't kill this team" chances for a Bug-type gym. I am sad I couldn't find room include a lot of the other bugs I love, especially Pinsir, Galvantula, and Heracross.

My gym would be a giant hive, with the main room containing several exits and it would be in the shape of a honeycomb. Each exit would lead to a different trainer, with the top, "queen's chamber" locked until all of the other trainers were defeated. My gym leader would be someone who managed to gain gym leadership/E4 membership through sheer determination despite being told they never had a chance.
