Is GF even related at all, with the Pokémon Adventures Manga though? As far as my understanding goes, Games and Manga are 2 separate things being made by 2 separate entities.

I just finished the Black and White arc and I don't really know where to go from here. I own the physical books for everything from the start to BW, but now I don't have anymore of the books and I heard BW2 was never finished. I want to keep reading though.

Black and White being the dreamers make sense, both follow their dreams (winning the league and pokemon being actors), mushra loves to eat their dreams (he tried to bit White's head once, black stopped it).
But considering pic related, i don't think white's dream makes her happy anymore...

My main issue is that Wally had like no presence in the manga. He deserved more.

His skill is being able to 'determine' the kind of moves a pokemon will use just by its stance, hence "determiner".

Each of them from gen IV are based on pokemon or gimmicks like pokemon dreams or the legendary lake trio.

So instead they make up some entirely new shit head to give it to? Yellow at least made some sense, there was no one really to co opt for it. Hell, even Blue was just some unused design until FRLG came around. But there's no particular reason Wally couldn't have been given a dex for the Emerald Chapter. Hell, he actually did use it during the RS Chapter, and then they gave it to Emerald anyway. I recall someone saying the Battle Frontier didn't fit Wally's character, but there's no reason that had to be true either. His whole subplot was over coming his lack of skill and confidence, and being able to make use of the connections he made during RS to get a shot at the ultimate test for a trainer sounds like a perfectly fine way to write him in as the MC.

I think literally the only reason Emerald was made is because Wally has a canon name that's not the version title. And even then they could've made it some odd nickname of his, what with his having all those green mons.
