Dragon was never that good to begin with. Half its resistances aren't that common compared to Ice being fucking everywhere thanks to the overabundance of Water-types that can learn Ice Beam, and the only thing it hits for SE damage is itself, which makes it only slightly better than Normal offensively.

The only thing that made Dragon-type so broken was the fact that all but maybe 2 Dragon-types were 600 BST monsters with insane abilities and movepools.

Not to mention Gen 4 buffed Outrage to 120 BP for absolutely no fucking reason, letting any retard slap a Choice item on an Outrage user and proceed to mindlessly sweep half the enemy team. Confusion? Just switch to another Outrage user and sweep the remains. Steel-types? Oh they can use Earthquake too because that's everywhere as well.

The stars were just aligned perfectly, and the Dragon-type was misblamed for all the shit the pseudos did. If they were Normal-type with a Normal version of Outrage, Normal would've been considered OP too.

It is. Thrash isn't used by 600+ BST monsters though, and with Gengar being literally everywhere it's hard to get it going.

Also, Outrage was buffed to 120 BP in Gen 4. Thrash didn't get buffed to 120 BP until Gen 4. Even GF forgot it existed.

Psychic, hands down. Only weakness is bug and ghost. Bug has jackshit for attacks (twin needle and leech life wow), ghost literally has nothing. Everything is part poison type.
