Only the mother can pass down the HA, if you are breeding two mons of the same species like 2 Gible then it's a 50/50 on which ball but not a Gible and a Garchomp, then it's mother only.

So if you breed the mother with the HA and the Father with the Apricorn ball then yes it is possible to get an offspring with the HA in an Apricorn Ball.

The second Cosmog is just given to you, although it actually appears in the wild. Sort of. You can't get it in anything but a Pokeball. If you want a Moon Ball Solgaleo/Lunala, you need to use it on Nebby. It's probably worth noting this is the only way to get one outside of getting one traded to you, since they can't breed or anything.

Nice picks, but I'd use the updated sprites. This gen, the Level Ball Sprite is more than than yellow, and the Fast Ball is more orange than red.

I can't find a group shot of all of them, but here's the dream world art. Most of the reds are more orange in the sprites, with the models having the more accurate red.

I'm almost up to the part where you catch Lunala, what fits better, a beat ball or a masterball? The gold trimmings of the beast ball fit really nicely, but I don't really want to use all my beast balls on 1 Pokemon.

I went Lure. Doesn't fit the best, but it doesn't look bad, either. It looks better if you compare the regular and shiny together (orangish red, blue, yellow stripes are the hair). Plus there aren't too many Pokemon which really work in Lure Balls (Dhelmise and the Totodile line off the top of my head).

Otherwise, I'd say Premier for the white, or maybe Dive for the light blue and white.

I don't think injected ball designs matter since it's only aesthetic. Injecting perfect stats is a bit of a gray area. I can see people disliking it since the injector took a shortcut and has more time to practice with teams rather than someone who has to spend the same amount of time both breeding, leveling, and practicing. In this case, they both had the same amount of time to prepare before VGCs started, but one guy avoided the tedium of breeding for the right stats.

Yea, the one with the white stamp is the Sport Ball, only used in the Johto bug catching contest, and only HGSS had that and could transfer up, so there's a limited count of pokemon it can be on.
Caterpie, Weedle, Paras, Venonat, Scyther, Pinsir, Wurmple, Nincada, Volbeat, Illumise, Kriketot, Combee lines are the only ones that can legally have sport balls.
