anon, it would still not be as good as garchomp. It would hit slightly harder maybe, but it would still be slower, less bulky, lacking the movepool needed and with a less usefull ability.

It does have the pleasant upside that right now people get fucking GOBSMACKED when your flygon isn't a scarfed physical scout. One of my friends got super fucking butthurt when I Fire Blasted his skarmory on the switch.
