Managed to get a Shiny Mareanie in about 3-ish boxes.

got a shiny penta perfect drampa after around 40 eggs. i didn't even really want one since i thought the blue color looked better.

Found a shiny cottenee after a few encounters.

This cute lil fella in my previous run.
I was searching for a ditto and as soon as I found one I started false swiping it, brought it to half hp (still green tho) and it immediately called for help.
I was sure no one was gonna arrive but this cute motherfucker appeared.
It was a tough fight but I managed to capture it.

Got a shiny exeggcute at the 40 SOS chain

I managed to get two shiny crabrawlers in about 6 boxes. But now I'm almost 40 boxes into mimikyus so I guess it evened out.

Just a question:
If I want to use the masuda method, do I need two mons from foreign versions of the games, or can I use one of my mons?

Bred a Shiny Honedge around half a box into breeding a few days ago, and then started breeding Snorlax and got a shiny maybe around 6 or 7 eggs into it. Don't have the shiny charm and wasn't looking for shinies, but was a great surprise since I've never bred a shiny (much less two) before.

One has to be foreign, the other one dont matter unless its the same. like it can be a jpn ditto with a eng or chs or whatever parent pokemon but MM dont work if its jpn ditto and jpn eevee for example.

I was breeding a bagon for an adamant nature since the neutral nature salamence I got from wonder trade was unsurprisingly shitty. I got a shiny one, Hardy nature. To make matters worse this was the first non-negative nature one I even managed to get, and its IVs are dogshit.

This game hates me.

Making 4/5 IV my Mimikyu in Love Balls. Got one 4 eggs in.

Trumbeak at the Lush Jungle. First encounter with no chaining. Got it while hunting for Pinsir actually so not too bad.

I will have to wait. I only have one golden bottle cap I got from wonder trade for some reason, and I was considering using it on my timid story salazzle. It is already level 85 and I should be able to max it out sooner than that bagon.

too busy trying to catch a damp psyduck and every fucking time i defeated an sos call, the original would call for help again

this went on for 26 fucking consecutive rounds except the one round i stupidly tried to use a pokeball near the beginning

I bred about 15 miniors trying to get a jolly one, and turned out I got a shiny one. Which was also jolly. That's all my luck for this gen used up.

I got a shiny Trumbeak while trying to encounter a wild Oranguru. I think I had 20 hours tops in the game at the time.

2 shiny feebus in a box of 30. They where meant to be traded for dex completion so horrid nature/ivs ;_;

I've had two shiny dittos in 4 chains trying to get a 5 or 6 IV ditto.

Very first Abra I encountered in this game was shiny. When breeding a Cutiefly, the 9th or 10th egg was shiny. Encountered a shiny Mimikyu after about 10 chain SOS. And just the other day I encountered a shiny Bewear near the Battle Tree while training the shiny Mimikyu.
I just got lucky this time around I guess.

Mine was a Ditto in a chain no shorter than 30 but no longer than 39, judging by the IVs.

I just wanted an Imposter ;_;
On the other hand I got a Bagon chain up to 152 while looking for a Salamence. No shiny, but I did get my level 12 Pseudo.
