Normally I do decently, but when pressured by the timer I find myself fucking up more than I would normally. I usually have to think for a good 3-5 seconds about type effectiveness, and even then I still forget sometimes that Ghost confers a resistance to poison.

I liked the idea of using the lower screen for something else. The PSS was nice but I didn't want it down there 24/7. The execution failed though. PSS should have been like... pressed X to appear, for example, or a DIRECT button on the menu.

I like the idea behind the plaza, but again, execution. The missions are boring as hell, it's talking to people and going in a circle. Gimme exploration stuff like BW2. The plaza runs with its own currency, which wouldn't suck so much if missions were better, but as it stands, it sucks. And like another anon said, the system to upgrade the shops is awful. You need to wait for them to be offered or buy them, and once again, it wouldn't be so bad if getting FCs wasn't a pain in the ass.

Fairy gave me trouble at first too. What I did was memorize that Steel is strong against Fairy. Poison is as well but you can get to the Steel option at the bottom faster by pressing up at the top of the list.

That's a complicated question. But I wasn't joking about working with severely autistic people for a living, and I'm mildly autistic myself, so hopefully I can give it a shot.

Somewhere along the line, "autistic" became synonymous with "uncool." Like how "retarded" means "unintelligent." I think it could be because autistic people often just don't fit in with "normal society." No matter how outwardly functional you seem, there's usually something distinctly "off" about autistic people that "normal" people can pick up on with varying degrees of ease.

You also have to keep in mind that the 4chan community tossed around "autism" like monkeys flinging their shit. It's a common buzzword on here, so as a result you can identify things that the community would identify as "autistic" easier than those who have never heard of 4chan can.

A lot of the more severely autistic people get stimulated by the colors and lights in video games. The social systems in video games are also significantly less complex than IRL social systems, which makes it easier for autistic people to latch on to them and understand them. So I think the stereotype comes a lot from reality.
